promises

dripping petals
promise forthcoming fruit
sweet apricots
butterfly love

for just a short season,
it dances on wind
and flutters its wings
to die in the dust
and forgotten by us.
edible

edible
delectable, delicate
your skin like soft petals
entices me
to feast.
kiss me sweeter than wine

kiss me sweeter than wine
sweeter than blossoms of springtime,
much sweeter than waltzes of Chopin
which flow much sweeter than brandy-wine.
footprints

in youth, the world stretches out with paths of footprints
unknown before us , always tomorrow;
but age leaves the footprints of yesterdays haunted with long shadows
winter bloom

against the winter winds
the camomille spreads its petals
and dreams of spring
golden hope

fleeting throughout life
our hopes are pinned
against the fates
like fragile butterflies
wild rose

Chopin fantasies shimmer
dripping transparent petals
from wild Bohemian roses
strawberry wishes

old age in winter
dreams of nothing sweeter
than strawberry kisses
stolen from youth’s lips
reflections

we see ourselves
in the other’s eyes
as we hurry
through the crowded streets of life
